Sweet low-angst romance between recuperating motocross-rider H and nursing student h. What I liked best is that the H and h spoke and talked out their issues and never let the angst meter go high and with both POVs I could really feel them falling in love. h wimps out in the end when she sees how dangerous H's job is and there is a small separation but she makes it alright and there is a HEA. 4 stars!Safety: Safe romance. (view spoiler)[H was one of those guys with a single minded focus on his career, he loved it. He was also a manho but had never done the relationship thing.h was recovering from loss of fiancé in army. She agrees to have fling with H ( who's only there temporarily) as a way to get back into dating. Neither of them expected to fall and the author showed it all really well.H is also intimidated a bit since he sees how much h loved her ex and since he doesn't know how to be a boyfriend but h reassures him plus they have a great connection thats evident, so its all good.We see one of the H's ex-f&@!buddy make a move on him but H refuses her and h walks in and instead of creating drama they just talk it out.(hide spoiler)]

Okay, I can add motocross racing to my list of favorite sports now! While WHIPPED can be read as a standalone, it follows the story of Reid's best friend Brett, and Nora's sister Georgia, who were introduced in the first book. WHIPPED is another sweet and sexy, fairly light romance between Brett, who was injured in an unfortunate bike accident, and Georgia, Nora's sister. Georgia has been traumatized by the tragic and sudden loss of her fiancé several years before and it has affected every relationship she has. Brett is sexy, a little cocky, funny and surprises himself by falling in love with the emotionally unavailable Georgia. I love all the easy banter between the guys in this book and the author's entertaining style of writing. There is no high drama in this book, not a ton of angst, just a sexy and action-packed romance set against the world of competitive motocross racing. I could almost feel the wind in my hair when the author describes the racing scenes! And I also love the small-town setting, with the families who know everyone and the warm feeling of community. If you are looking for a hot, quick, exciting and very sweet romance, then I highly recommend this series by Elizabeth Lee. The next book is about another couple in the motocross racing world and I can't wait! (ARC provided by the author in return for an honest review.)

I really liked this book. I knew their story would be a good one, lots of emotion, and it did not let me down. Georgia and Brett were so perfectly in tune with each other, it was refreshing. They addressed things head on, mostly. And Brett's commitment to take things at G's pace just made you fall for him harder. I liked this story a little more than the first, which makes me that more excited for the next one.

This was such a good book and I really liked Georgia and Brett's story.Georgia is Nora's sister that we met in Book 1 of this series, Throttled. She's been through a lot already in life and is just trying to fill her days up and keep busy. But she gets a lot busier when Brett, one of Reid's teammates, gets injured and she offers to help take care of him. Brett Sallinger is kind of like the bad boy of Motocross. He lives life a little on the dangerous side since he rides Freestyle, which is some scary cool looking stuff, and has never been one to not take a risk. After he finds himself injured he decides to risk it all and pursue Georgia Bennett. After all, they both could use a little fun. I really liked seeing things play out between these two and was relieved to see that it was mostly angst free. I feel like Georgia has been through enough and didn't need something that was going to be super complicated so I really enjoyed the connection and banter between her and Brett. I felt like these two really balanced each other out. I really do like this series and cannot wait to read Hoyt's book, along with hopefully getting glimpses of Nora, Reid, Georgia, and Brett! ***ARC provided from the author in exchange for my HONEST review. Brett Sallinger has completely stolen my heart! Elizabeth Lee has blown me away with the fun, cocky, worship-worthy motorcross hottie that made me laugh in Throttled. Whipped is Brett and Georgia’s story and it is the perfect addition to the Wild Riders series. Elizabeth Lee has filled the pages of this novel with fantastic humor, delicious heat, and unexpected heart that consumed me completely. I loved getting lost in this familiar world, seeing Nora, Reid, and Hoyt again felt like coming home. The perfect balance of light-hearted fun and emotional angst, Georgia and Brett’s journey made my heart ache one minute and had me laughing the next. Elizabeth Lee’s writing just gets better and better with time, and I love how effortlessly she brings her vibrant characters and unforgettable stories to life. Her creative storyline construction, lyrical prose, and vivid imagery blend together into something captivating and beautiful.Brett was so fun to unravel. I loved seeing the sweet, caring side of him that was brought out during his time away from the hectic motorcross lifestyle. Elizabeth Lee allowed him to grow into his emotions at a pace that felt genuine to his character, leaving me totally hooked on this former ladies man. While Brett dealt with newly discovered emotions, Georgia worked to let go of the emotions keeping her from moving forward with her life. There was something so satisfying in seeing her face the past and make peace with her fiance’s death in order to move on. Through this character growth, Elizabeth Lee not only made her totally lovable and relatable, but she revealed a strength in Georgia that was undeniably beautiful. Brett’s laid-back, fun-loving attitude perfectly balanced Georgia’s serious, responsible demeanor. Together they brought out the best in each other, pushed each other to embrace life, and turned up the heat when their differences inspired friction. Their chemistry was palpable from the start and as their connection grew I found myself more and more invested in their happily ever after. Whipped is a journey of healing, both emotionally and physically. It captures the trials of moving forward and the risks we take to open our hearts again after they’ve been shattered. Georgia and Brett’s story was surprisingly poignant while being addictively entertaining and full of life. Elizabeth Lee did a great job with the timing and pacing of Whipped. I love that we didn’t have to wait to jump into Brett and Georgia’s story. Having met them in Throttled, their easy friendship and undeniable chemistry had already laid the groundwork for something more between them. With both character’s having their own issues to overcome, we needed the time to let them figure things out beyond the basics of getting to know each other and Elizabeth Lee did not disappoint. I was sure no one could beat our Reid Travers for my favorite motorcross man, but I guess I never saw Brett coming. Brett Salinger owns me completely!

I LOVE BRETT!!! He is cocky, sexy (and knows it), and a marshmallow on the inside. And he is recovering from an unfortunate injury that wasn’t meant for him.Georgia is his friend, helping him get around while he is injured. She lost her fiancé and feels she may never move on. And then Brett happens. These two are awesome characters. They give as well as take when it comes to picking on each other and the attraction they have burns bright. Having only read only one other motocross book I have nothing to compare details to, but the writing is spot on! Elizabeth Lee takes us all on a wild ride that makes you feel like you are riding the back of the bike. There are ups and down, twists and turns that make you feel like you are on the track. The heat between the characters is hotter than the muffler and tail pipe. And watch how fast they shift gears once the walls come down between them. The only downside of this book for me was Brett seems to have lost some of his cocky attitude when he interacts with Georgia. ~ Devlynn, 4.5 stars~~~ Georgia Bennett is a one-woman whirling dervish. She never stops, she’s always got something going on to keep her busy, be it nursing school, volunteering her time at the hospital or anything else she can do to fill up her time. Because if she stops, she’ll remember what she’s missing out on since her fiancé died three years ago. So when Brett Sallinger needs her help to get back and forth to his doctor appointments and physical therapy, of course Georgia is happy to assist—it’s just one more thing to keep her busy. The Bad Boy of Motocross, Brett Sallinger, is bound and determined to recover from his devastating injury and return to defend his professional freestyle motocross crown. His typical dating style—if you want to call it one—is uncomplicated, convenient and short lived. That is, until he meets and spends time getting to know one Georgia Bennett and pretty soon Brett realizes that the relationship he’s developing with Georgia is as important as his career. Brett and Georgia are moving beyond the ‘friends’ stage. But are they ready? Can Georgia bury her fears of being left alone again? Can Brett convince her to make the leap? Is their relationship worth the risk?Oh my. I think I need to search You Tube for some motocross freestyle videos. I love Brett and Georgia—even when I wanted to shake them. Brett was so understanding and kind and patient and sexy and awesome. Georgia is so sweet and kind and gentle and terrified of being hurt again. But grief recovery is different for everyone and once Georgia opened her eyes and saw Brett as a man, their relationship was bound to take off. I really loved the slow development of their love too. It was well paced and didn’t come across as “instalove” at all. I also loved the relationships between Georgia and her sister, Nora, and Reid and Brett. And I’m DYING to read Clutched, Reid and Chayse’s book! ~ Missy, 4.5 stars

I like Ms. Lee's writing, but it's too sweet for me in the end. This book felt more fully plotted than the first in the series. Which is a shame cuz I was bored with the plot. It's saccharine fluffiness and dead fiancé trope was just too much. This is totally safety-gang-safe. If you want zero OW/OM drama this is for you. The H is totally devoted to the h.In the end, I felt the first couple deserved more plot development and 30k more words. The second couple just bored me. And what's worse for me...I feel this H deserved so much more. I think the last book promises to be the most interesting but I'm burned out on fluffy bunny reads so it'll have to go into the TBR pile.Don't let my review deter you, I'm just not a saccharine sweet romance kinda girl.

Such a beautiful and captivating story. It is nearly impossible to not fall in love with Brett and Georgia. Their story is so real and raw. You will find yourself lost in their story and desperately hoping that these two will get their HEA. Elizabeth Lee has once again knocked it out of the park and has me super excited to see what else will come from this exciting new series!

Really good story but the editing needs work! This is Brett and Georgia's story. Just as they get together, Georgia pulls away. Georgia's afraid that she'll lose Brett the same way she lost Jamie. Will Brett be able to convince Georgia to take the risk and give love a try no matter how dangerous his job is?

The relationship between Brett and Georgia is an intense on that sends you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Georgia’s character is one that not many can identify with, and I can never say that my husband has died, but when my father died the feelings Georgia is going through were the exact ones that had me guarded for so long. Elizabeth does a great job writing how Georgia gets through her life and even the thought process of moving on from a dead fiancé. Brett on the other hand is the most honorable man that I have read in a long time. He is so considerate, but he is also willing to push Georgia’s buttons. They push each other past their comfort zones and it makes for a great read that may not be pleasant at times for the heart, but is well worth the wait in the end. The Worst Parts:I wish. I wish so hard that Brett would have made Georgia sweat a little more when she asked for forgiveness. I know that they needed to reconcile, but man I wish he would have made her work a little harder, but man is that boy a softy for her. Also I HATE the epilogue! Why?! Why torture us with that, but what I am grateful for is that the next book comes out tomorrow so I don’t have to wait long to find out!Final Thoughts:This series is different then what I have normally read because the HEA’s aren’t complete at the end of their own book, and the secondary characters that you have already read about continue their stories in the other characters books. This allows for the familial feeling when reading these characters. You learn so much about them.

Find this review and more at kimberlyfaye reads.I was all kinds of excited when I learned Elizabeth Lee would be writing a new series featuring motocross riders. I thoroughly enjoyed Reid and Nora's story in the first book, Throttled, and was anxious to get to read Brett's story. I wanted to see him get tamed. :)I can't deny I was a little apprehensive of the pairing between Brett and Georgia at first. She had been through so much already with losing her first husband at a young age and I wasn't entirely sure how she would pair with manwhore Brett. My fears were laid aside relatively quickly during this book because, honestly, once things started happening between them, Brett had eyes for no one else. (The best version of "tamed" I can ask for.) Even still, it wasn't all smooth going between them. While I can't say she was still hung up on her first husband, his loss definitely affected how she looked at life and love. She was terrified at the thought of losing love again and when the guy you're falling for has a dangerous job as Brett does, those fears get stirred up pretty quickly, understandably. I wound up really loving Brett and Georgia's story. He was healing from his injury. She was healing from losing Jamie. They were both going through a lot and I loved how they were there for one another. They had crazy chemistry and things got pretty steamy between them. While there were plenty of feels with this book, it was pretty low on angst, which I appreciated. There's no doubt these two were better together than apart. I loved reading along as Georgia got a second chance at love and began truly living again. I also, of course, enjoyed watching Brett find something real. It was a great story. Of course, we get a glimpse into some pretty special moments between Nora and Reid <3 as well as learning more about some of the other characters we were introduced to in the first book. And after the buildup between Chase and Hoyt – and that epilogue – I can't even tell you how much I'm already looking forward to their story in Clutched. February just can't get here fast enough! I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

***4.50 Stars***This is my favorite of this Motocross series. Georgia Bennett is the younger sister of Nora from book one (Throttled.) Georgia is constantly busy only stopping long enough to sleep...barely. She’s either in nursing school, working on her school papers, or volunteering at the hospital. Keeping busy helps with her grief since tragically losing her fiance. They had known each other most all of their lives and they were each others firsts in every way. She’s been devastated and now fears almost everything in life.Brett Sallinger is the typical man-whore extraordinaire and his profession draws women like flies. He likes his women like he likes his bike. Fast. Uncomplicated. Replaceable. It seems he can’t go a night without a women in his bed. The man-whore issue is not something I am fond of in books but at least he doesn’t cheat once he meets Georgia so you are safe on the cheating home front.Brett has had a severe injury while riding his best friend, Reid’s, bike in book one, an accident that was meant for Reid. Brett is in his mid twenties and has just undergone a knee replacement. Since Reid was called back to the circuit and Nora accompanied him, Georgia offered to care for Brett, check in on him daily and make sure he made it to his doctor’s appointments and physical therapy. She also helped with the grocery shopping and the everyday things that normal people do. As the two grow closer Georgia is terrified because of Brett’s dangerous career as a professional freestyle motocross rider. She lost her fiance shortly after he joined the service and the fear she had for his safety was soon realized when she received the news of his death. Her fear for Brett is great and she just doesn’t know if she can handle being with him. What happens when it’s time for Brett to once again join his team?I loved this book and the love story was so sweet and honest. I highly recommend this book as well as the series.

4.5 starsWhipped was even cuter & more heart-warming than Throttled. I LOVED Brett & Georgia together. I REALLY LIKED the build-up to their relationship; the flirtmance, the day-to-day things they did together & when they hit the sheets & he called her "baby"... it was so perfect. *sighs a hundred happy sighs* I'm pretty sure it's impossible NOT to fall in love with Brett Sallinger. He was incredibly charming, had a great sense of humor & was pretty much the ultimate book boyfriend package. The way he showered Georgia with attention & love, his patience & his sincerity are just some of the reasons why he got top marks in my book. The only time he got my goat was when he let that skank Alicia brush up on him at the end. Not to nit-pick, but I would've LOVED it if he had immediately pushed her away, even if he turned her down soon after. I have been Team Georgia since the day we met her in Throttled. I couldn't help but feel for her with what happened to Jamie, so, of course, I was very much anticipating her HEA! Georgia was sweet, caring & beautiful. Her attempts at seduction, the way she didn't judge Brett on his past & when she went after Brett in the end were a few of the reasons why she won my heart. Although I wish she would've cut ties a bit earlier with Jamie's family, I understand how it'd be a hard thing to do. Still waiting for Beau to catch a ride on that "karma train". It'll be sweet when it happens but I was a bit disappointed that it didn't occur in this book. And HOLY HELL! The news that was revealed in the last two paragraphs of the epilogue... CANNOT WAIT to find out who deposited that in the trashcan!! Very excited to get my hot little hands on Chayse & Hoyt's story, Clutched! It's going to be a wild ride!!

I was rather impressed with his gentleness. He makes Georgia live again and it's beautiful. I loved reading them. Both are so passionate and loving it's refreshing. This is book two in the series and it was better than the first. Not that it was bad. I just connected to these characters a little better. I felt this story was more complete and went full circle. It was more fun and a little less dramatic. I do love a series where each book is better than the last. Georgia and Brett are so hot together. Him being the classic bad boy man slut only makes me love him more when he falls head over riding boots for her. He's so sweet and understanding of her past relationship that it melted my heart. And although Georgia had her issued she really came into herself and her needs with Brett. It was great! I can't wait to read the next book with Hoyt.

Some people may not agree that you need to read book 1, Throttled, before this one, but I really feel you should. This is the second book in the Wild Riders series. Each book is a spin off from the one before it, but some events tend to overlap just a tad. I truly enjoyed Georgia and Brett's ride. Georgia is a bit timid when it comes to relationships, and she has a good reason. Brett just really hasn't had a relationship. He's more the hit it and quit it type. Georgia is afraid to become involved with Brett because of his risky motocross job. I loved how Brett, the one never in a relationship fights for his chance. There are moments of angst, and moments where I wanted to yell at Georgia. I felt as if I was watching the story in real life. The author does a fantastic job of keeping the readers engaged and invested in the outcome. It was great to see Reid, Nora, and Hoyt again. We are also introduced to Chayse, whom is going to be a hard one to handle in book three. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger.

Definitely a 4.5!! After reading Throttled, I knew I needed more Brett Sallinger. The bad boys of motocross are always the ones that are HOT HOT HOT! When Brett first came to Halstead with Reid Travers he immediately locked eyes with the younger Bennett sister, Georgia. Brett has never been the relationship type, never wanted the hassle. He was committed to his career. But there was something different about Georgia. Georgia tragically lost her fiance, Jaime, three years ago in the war. Ever since she has closed herself off to anything that involves risk, and especially anything that involves love. When Brett is down for a few months due to a knee injury, Georgia is there to help nurse him back to health. Eventually both realize the connection between them is worth fighting for. Georgia knows Brett's career is nothing but life-threatening risk. Is that something she can handle? Can Brett break down Georgia's walls all while competing with the memory of Jamie's cost. This is all-around fight for it true love story.

I enjoyed Whipped, the sequel to Throttled, more than I enjoyed Throttled in a general sense. The story line was more my cuppa, and I liked Georgia and Brett better than Nora and Reid as characters. That being said, there were still quite a few flaws here that rather annoyed me. The constant reminders that Brett is a "manly man" and doesn't need to show emotions was off-putting. In general, he acted as though he needed to "save" Georgia, meanwhile Georgia was doing just fine saving herself. Ms. Lee writes relatively strong, free-thinking women, but there is an innate sexism existing in her stories that irks me. There is some heaviness in the plot, mostly with Georgia coming to terms to losing her fiance, but overall this was a sweet, light read. The drama towards the end of the book wasn't over-done, and made sense for the most part. I liked the resolutions and maturity the characters showed.I'm looking forward to the next installment in this series!

Light and refreshing read. Brett and Georgia initially met through Reid and Nora. Brett gets into a riding accident and Georgia being a nursing student helps him recuperate. Brett is our Hot playboy motocross rider. We love our bad boys :) Yummy!Georgia had her once a lifetime love and unfortunately lost him and have become very cautious about putting herself in that situation again. I love how we get dual POV and can literally feel them falling in love. The sexual tension was hot, and when they come together their combustible. We get very little drama which I loved. It's hard to find a story where all the elements just come together so seamlessy without the over the top drama or angst. They communicated very well together, were very honest with their feelings. I had a semi throw down in my head with Georgia but she redeemed herself very well :) Great addition to an awesome series!Enjoy!

Whipped is Georgia and Brent's story and is book 2 in the Wild Riders series. We met both characters in Throttled (Nora and Reid's book). Georgia is Nora's sister and Brent is Reid's friend and teammate. Nora has had her world turned upside down with the sudden and tragic death of her fiancé 3 years ago. Now she stays so busy that she doesn't have time to think about it. Brent is recovering from surgery in small town Hallstead and is determined to win over Miss Georgia Bennett while he's there. Neither of them count on falling in love, but what happens when motocross's bad boy meets Hallstead's golden girl? I loved this book! It was super fun and easy to read. I also loved seeing Reid and Nora again!

Another sweet, not too angsty read by Elizabeth Lee, just like I love 'em. I loved Throttled and waited for Brett's and Georgia's story. I was not disappointed, their romance sucked me in and entertained me well. The writing style was good, the story is well developed and reasonably realistic, and the characters are likeable, you just can't help but root for them, wanting them the happy ending they both deserve.I understood Georgia's fears and insecurities about their relationship. I'm glad she came to her senses and fought for Brett. The little snippet in the end from Chayse's POV kind was of evil, though, how am I supposed to wait for the next book in the series now? With constantly checking for a release day and pre-order link, that's how...

Another win for Elizabeth Lee! I am so in love with these motocross guys. The description in this story was incredible. It was like I was there watching this story unfold. Brett and Georgia are wonderful together. Brett is a cocky, self-assured, but under all that he has a tender heart. Georgia strives to keep herself busy to stop herself from her thoughts. She lost her first love and is just going through the motions. Brett is the lightning strike that breaks through her walls and makes her feel again. These two together is pure magic. Their relationship is tested and tried. The author did an amazing job with this story and I can’t wait for the next one!Reviewed for FMR Book Grind

WhippedI can't say enough great things about this book. I loved Throttled and I couldn't wait for this one. Finding out more about Georgia's tumultuous past and heartbreak had me really intrigued. The only thing I think was missing was a little more of Brett's back story. The reason behind the playboy facade would've help open my eyes to the reason Brett had never loved. I was excited for them both and I was glad that we were able to see Nora and Reid's wedding. I can't wait for Chayse and Hoyt's story. Especially to find out who among the other couples is hiding that fateful secret.

Unbelievable book. Elizabeth did it again. We have Brett sexy Brett motocross bad boy. He's hurt and going to PT for his injury. Then we have sweet Georgia who has been threw a lot she lost her fiance 3 years ago while he was in Afghanistan. Now she is going to nursing school, volunteering at the hospital anything to take up her time. So when Brett comes to town she offers to help him. Well Brett just might be willing to change his player bad boy ways to when over sweet Georgia but is Georgia willing to give her heart to another man that has a dangerous job. At the end of this book we get a taste for book 3 and boy I can't wait!! **ARC provided for honest review***

After reading Throttled, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Whipped. This is another of Elizabeth's best works, and I couldn't finish it fast enough.Georgia Bennett lost the love of her life while he was stationed overseas. Brett Sallinger is MotoCross' bad boy, who is temporarily off the track due to an injury. During his recovery, Georgia is there to help him out. Neither is looking for a relationship, so falling for each other wasn't in the cards. This was a quick, fun read and I can't wait for Hoyt and Chayse's book next.
