Neither Here Nor There: Reflections on the Smiling Land Reviews
Peter is a writer, painter, cartoonist and architect. Born in Ottawa, he first came to Newfoundland when he was seven years old – his father was a politician. Peter and his wife Lisa have been spending the last thirty years of summers in Bonavista Bay. He writes about life generally and life on the island in particular. His observations are detailed and insightful. Really liked this book, which also had a beautiful cover.
"Peter Pickersgill makes pictures. Pictures for the eye, for the mind. Pictures for the heart." -- Michael Enright"This is writing that is poetry. It is the writing of love, of course, but even more of commitment." -- Richard Gwyn
